Custom Machining and Fabrication in All Alloys
Wire Mesh Belt has the capacity to design and fabricate custom conveyors, shafts, sprockets and pulleys. We can supply any component required for your conveying application.
Custom machining and fabrication is available in all alloys to cover all applications.
Belt Additions
Belt additions are used when the application requires product retention, containment or a physical barrier above the belt surface.

Cast Leg Insert Plate
A solid one-piece construction is used to create a retaining edge. The plate is inserted into a spiral, so the component will not be negatively affected by belt stretch.

Top Mounted Plate
A solid barrier option welded to the belt topside. It can be supplied as either one solid cast piece or a fabricated one- or two-piece construction.

Wicket
A basic upside-down U-shaped barrier formed from one-piece wire construction. It can be inserted into a spiral or formed from the belt connecting rod itself. It provides limited retaining-edge functionality and is not useful for smaller parts. It is a low-cost option.

Flights
Flights are vertical attachments that typically span the full width of the belt to help separate product or help prevent backsliding on an inclined system. Flights can be L-shaped, triangle shaped or simple vertical strips or composed of additional wire mesh. Flights are typically welded onto the mesh belt, and may also be bolted on.
